I found this very simply, yet very sweet cocktail in Trader Vic's 1946 book of food and drink book. Key here, are the right ingredients. Brugal rum and lemon juice are simple. The honey is what makes the difference in this cocktail!
- 2-3tsp honey (the book recommends 1 tsp)
- 1,5cl (1/2oz) lemon juice
- 4,5cl (1 1/2oz) Brugal rum
What kind of honey do we need, well, home made honey of course (thanks Bram!)
Dissolve the honey in the lemon juice. Add the Brugal and shake.
